Rotary Arm Tube bending is an accurate, high speed method of tube bending. This versatile method can work with or without a mandrel. A mandrel is a tool used to support the inside of the tube to improve the quality of the bend by minimizing any flattening or quality of the bend and to help control wrinkling during the bending cycle. The maximum bend radius is 180 degrees. This method of bending is commonly chosen for tight radius bending.

Compression / Ram Bending
This style of tube bending process we offer creates a bend by hydraulically cycling a bend die in a downward motion into the tube. The tube is supported by a pair of wing dies that separate and rotate as the bend die moves through the center of the tube. This motion wraps the tube around the bend die, allowing the wing dies to support the tube on each side. This process is very fast and is great for high production. There are a variety of bend types available with this method of bending including controlled crush & knuckle bends. The maximum bend radius is 110 degrees and is best for tight radius bends.
